The website will tell you more about the business and how you can get involved.
This page is specifically for all of you lovely individuals out there.
By individuals we mean anyone who wants to go on this Professional Weirdos journey on 'their own'.
I.e. You're looking to take it upon yourself to unleash your creativity, reconnect with your Inner Weirdo and grow in confidence.

On this page we'll tell you some more about Professional Weirdos and provide you with some valuable links, products, courses and services.

Why we exist
Professional Weirdos is the brainchild of Lord Simon Jacobs.
Long story relatively short, Simon loves using his creativity, in all aspects of his life.
Simon started his first business at the ripe age of 16 and his second whilst at university, but the inspiration for Professional Weirdos only came once he'd had an ‘important’ and high paying corporate job in London.
His corporate job was the envy of his colleagues and it impressed his parents and relatives but it just wasn't for him.
It stunted his creativity, stressed him out and he just didn't enjoy it.
Simon left his corporate job and decided to look for something else, something more meaningful, fulfilling and fun for him.
He was struggling a bit to find his next move, but this changed after a catch up with a friend.
During this catch up his friend said to him; “Simon, you’re a ‘bit weird’, but I think it’s a massive factor in your success to date. Understand it, formulate it and bottle it. There’s a lot of value in it!”
This was the lightbulb moment.
Simon left this chat with jubilation and excitement.
He had found some new direction.
The plan was to set up a community with aims of helping other people recognise their inner weirdness, embrace it and work it.
It blossomed and showed Simon that there was an appetite for his vision.
Simon came up with the name Professional Weirdos when he was trying to describe himself and the type of people he wanted to work with.
These are the people who go to work 9-5 and feel the constant pressure to suppress their ‘true selves’ in order to fit in, when in actuality the more they share their quirks and personality, the more success and happiness they’re bound to have.
Oh… and he wanted a fun title for himself for this line of work and Professional Weirdo described that perfectly!
However, now that this is his full time focus he is technically a Professional Weirdo².
There’s a wide expanse that Simon wants the business to touch and work with.
From schools and entrepreneurship to large multinational companies that need help cultivating their innovative minds.

What We Do
At its core, Professional Weirdos is a training & education company.
So in the simplest of terms, we run talks and workshops, produce content, courses and books and go into companies & organisations to help boost people's confidence, reintroduce them to their own creative abilities and empower them to use it in their everyday lives effectively.
This all relates back to helping people achieve more success and ultimately happiness in life.
It can be a real challenge, but one we utterly cherish.
We've given talks and run workshops for some incredible people and organisations, many of which have gone on to change their ways of working, find new possibilities and achieve increased levels of success.
The principles and key learning outcomes are based on our own Professional Weirdos' theory and methodology.

How To Get Involved & Unleash Your Own Inner Weirdo
Professional Weirdos was originally conceived with the individual at its heart, the corporate training has only been a recently edition to our services.
With that in mind and because individuals are our first priority we have a whole host of ways (and are constantly developing and thinking of more) for people to get involved in Professional Weirdos.
The first port of call is the Professional Weirdos Facebook Group & Community.
Then there is the business itself.
There are also two books currently in the pipeline.
And finally we have the courses we are developing and our challenges and real world events.
We're always looking for more ways to get people involved in Professional Weirdos so if you have any suggestions we are all ears!

Facebook Group & Community
The Facebook group started back in 2017 and was originally named 'Is The World Strange, Or Am I?'.
The aim of the group is to be the online hub for the community.
We want the Professional Weirdos community to be filled with people who want to better themselves, like to challenge the status quo, take chances, are super creative and ultimately want to enjoy life and smile more than they don't.
The group and community were set up to bring a bunch of people together who all think differently and to create a melting pot of ideas, inspiration and support.
Professional Weirdos members are people who see challenges and setbacks as opportunities, they see brick walls as windows and enemies as future friends.
In the group there is a mixture of individual and business based discussion as well as regular interviews with people who have achieved success (by their own definition) simply by being themselves.
Members of the group get exclusive, first hand access to these interviews and content and are the first to know about any Professional Weirdos products, courses or events.

The Business
Professional Weirdos Ltd was set up in 2018 with a view to sell services such as events, talks & workshops and products such as courses, books & merchandise.
Whilst the business is for profit we want to make sure that we do good at the same time and operate fairly and morally.
That is why we offer reduced rates for educational organisations, vow to put large percentages of our profits towards good causes and pump money back into the members of our community and create a pot for awesome projects.
We are always looking for new people to join this business, whether that's as an ambassador, one of our speakers, contributors to our community or even by becoming a shareholder.
We want people to be proud to tell others about their involvement in Professional Weirdos and spread the word.

Books & Merchandise
We have two books which are currently being edited and finalised.
The first of which will be a list of 367 'weird' and 'wacky' things to do. One for each day of the year essentially (plus a bonus couple).
Each item comes with a description and a predicted outcome of how it might affect your way of thinking.
The book is aimed to help people to start seeing more of the world, become more open-minded and to remind them to have fun in life!
This will be the first book that Professional Weirdos and Simon have released, they can't wait!

Courses & Events
We regularly put on full day events and run courses for individuals.
The events and courses run alongside our methodology which is all about helping people Unleash their Inner Weirdo, remember their creativity and to have more success and fun in life.
